Logan Ramos

Software Engineer • Backend Systems, Data Infrastructure, and Developer Tooling

Production-focused engineer building backend systems, fraud-adjacent operational tooling, and data infrastructure with an emphasis on clarity, reliability, and practical developer surfaces.

Current work spans Disney Streaming fraud systems, the Job Pool data ecosystem, and developer-facing tools that turn complicated underlying systems into usable interfaces.

My academic background in Mathematics-Computer Science at UC San Diego shaped a lasting interest in functional programming, abstraction, and category theory as tools for thinking clearly about software.

Experience

Software Engineer

Disney Streaming • Fraud Services

  • Build backend services and operational tooling for fraud decisioning, signal quality, and abuse-response workflows.
  • Shipped direct-ban and threshold-automation paths that reduce manual overhead and improve response speed on targeted cases.
  • Established Apache Flink groundwork for richer event context, better downstream signal handling, and lower false-positive pressure.
  • Improved network and identifier handling for abuse patterns including IPv6 interface-identifier evasion.

Independent Product Builder

Job Pool ecosystem + developer tooling

  • Built Job Data Pool, the canonical data infrastructure layer for the Job Pool ecosystem, including a public API, OpenAPI contract, JSON Schemas, versioned datasets, and RFC-backed domain boundaries.
  • Built Me Wanna Job as a consumer-facing layer on top of the shared job data plane, focused on query-first exploration and lower-noise job discovery.
  • Built and published cider-cli, a Python CLI for CIDR visualization and network-space exploration designed for fast operational analysis.

Hackathon and Team Project Contributor

Rapid Prototyping and Cross-Functional Delivery

  • Built product concepts across browser extensions, recommendation flows, and collaborative web apps with an emphasis on turning loosely scoped ideas into testable software.
  • Worked across interface design, technical implementation, and cross-functional delivery on projects including Local Poach, Ecoswap, and Rocket Recipes.

Selected Projects

Job Data Pool

Canonical job data API, contracts, and datasets

  • Publishes the public `/v1` API, OpenAPI 3.1 contract, JSON Schemas, versioned datasets, and architecture RFCs for the Job Pool ecosystem.
  • Defines domain boundaries so developer integration, transparency surfaces, and consumer search products do not collapse into one mixed-purpose site.
  • Frames job data access as a cache-first, contract-first infrastructure problem instead of a collection of hidden one-off scrapers.

Me Wanna Job

Consumer job discovery product

  • Consumer-facing layer built on top of pooled listings data, with query-first exploration and product surfaces tuned for people actually applying.
  • Explores job-fit, resume, and CSV-driven workflows without making the consumer site carry the whole infrastructure burden.

cider-cli

Python CLI for CIDR Visualization

  • Visualizes large network ranges and CIDR hierarchies for faster anomaly triage and investigative workflows.
  • Designed for scriptable use, quick interpretation of large address spaces, and operationally useful drill-down paths.
